Parents of JHS Feeder 8thGrade Students:

You are invited to attend our annual “Prepare for High School” program. The purpose is to introduce you to high school programs, discuss levels within the curriculum areas and to let you know about the scheduling process. We encourage you to attend this important session to help set the stage for a successful 2017-2018 school year.

This program will be offered as twice at Jefferson High School onWednesday, February 8thfor students with the last names ending A-K and Thursday, February 9thfor students with last names ending L-Z.Presentations will be in the auditorium at 6:00 pm. We are hopeful that two evenings will allow for accommodating your schedule.

AProgram of Studies for 9thgrade classes will be distributed at this time. The packet also includes a scheduling worksheet, and Honors level class requirements.

JHS counselors will schedule students in their home middle schools in March. Following parent/guardian signatures and pre-requisite checks by middle school counselors, request forms will be forwarded to the high school for scheduling entry.
